Overview 

Urinary Tract Infection is a common infection that affects any part of the urinary system, including the kidneys, ureters, bladder, and urethra. Most UTIs involve the lower urinary tract (bladder and urethra) and are usually caused by bacteria.

UTIs are more common in women but can affect men and children as well. Early diagnosis and proper treatment help prevent complications and recurrence.

• Cystitis: Infection of the bladder
• Urethritis: Infection of the urethra
• Pyelonephritis: Infection of the kidneys (more severe)
