Overview 

Y-linked Genetic Disorders are rare inherited conditions caused by mutations in genes located on the Y chromosome. Since only males have a Y chromosome, these disorders are passed directly from father to son.

Y-linked disorders are uncommon and usually affect male fertility, sexual development, or certain physical traits. Many cases are mild, but proper diagnosis and genetic counseling are important.
