Takayasu Arteritis is a rare chronic inflammatory disease that affects the large arteries, particularly the aorta and its major branches. It causes thickening, narrowing, or blockage of blood vessels, which can reduce blood flow to different parts of the body.

The condition mainly affects young women and can lead to symptoms such as fatigue, limb weakness, and differences in blood pressure between arms. Early diagnosis and treatment are essential to prevent serious complications like stroke or organ damage.
