Overview 

Uveitis is an inflammation of the uvea, the middle layer of the eye that includes the iris, ciliary body, and choroid. It can affect one or both eyes and may lead to serious vision problems if not treated promptly.

Uveitis can occur suddenly and progress rapidly. Early diagnosis and appropriate treatment are essential to prevent complications and preserve vision.

Types of Uveitis

  • Anterior Uveitis: Affects the front of the eye (most common)
