Overview 

Ventricular Fibrillation Disease is a life-threatening heart rhythm disorder (arrhythmia) in which the heart’s lower chambers (ventricles) quiver instead of pumping blood effectively. This leads to a sudden loss of blood circulation and can result in cardiac arrest if not treated immediately.

It is a medical emergency requiring urgent intervention such as defibrillation (electric shock) to restore a normal heart rhythm. Prompt treatment is critical to save life and prevent brain damage.

Types of Ventricular Fibrillation

• Primary Ventricular Fibrillation: Occurs suddenly without prior symptoms
• Secondary Ventricular Fibrillation: Develops due to underlying heart disease
• Paroxysmal Ventricular Fibrillation: Intermittent episodes of abnormal rhythm

• Sudden collapse

• No pulse
• No breathing
